A foodbank was a project Rev. Kim Hurst had in mind when she came to Malta in 2014. With the help of the congregation, members of other churches and people who have a heart for helping others we were able to start this mission.

We help individuals and families in short term crisis, through the provision of emergency food supplies. Clients are given non-perishable food which is nutritionally balanced to last the individual, couple or family up to 7 days. We cater for special dietary requirements and are committed to helping all who are in need regardless of religion, colour, race or gender.

Food is given out to people who are experiencing a crisis identified by care professionals and referred to us. We aim to help in a crisis situation with some practical help, while the Care Professionals look at longer-term strategies. Some of these needs arise as a result of benefit delay, low income, ill health, homelessness, sickness or housing issues.
